J.E. Wolf was born, Jasmine Elyse Gilchrist. She chose the name J.E. Wolf to symbolize her connection with wolves. J.E. told stories to anyone who would listen when she was a kid. It wasn’t until later that she put those stories onto paper.

She didn’t start her writing career until she got older. She studied Pre-Law during her first year of college. She was determined to be a lawyer. Soon she had a career change and joined the US Army. She was raised in a Marine household, so serving her country was in her blood. After a few years of traveling and being in the Army, she decided to go back to school and study creative writing.

She attended Full Sail University and studied Creative Writing for Entertainment. She began to write more than just stories she told. She has created screenplays, video game concepts, and published two books.
