After 2 years of preparation, The Key was born in the dead of winter of 2018 with our first event at Black Wall Street Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut. We started with 7 Titles:

Initially, this was a way to engage with the community about future plans of another black-owned bookstore coming to Hartford, CT. Today in 2019 we are happy to now be discussing The Key as a premiere interactive online bookstore. We aim to connect the reading community all around the world with the material of substance!
